Our First Store!

After the success of our products online we decided to take the plunge and open up a brick and mortar store, 977 Laurel St, San Carlos in California. We found a brand new building that was being constructed in our favourite street in California.

I call this our back to the future store. While everyone else is making clothes in China and selling them online we decided to go back to the future and challenge ourselves to make great comfortable clothing in the US and sell it in a brick and mortar store.

This was a bit of a brave step. The rents in San Carlos are high and we didn't want to sell our clothes at a price that would not be affordable. Having started selling our clothes at various art and wine festivals and farmers markets we had a lot of friends that were local artists. So we decided that our store could also be an outlet for local artists to sell their amazing hand made products.

We opened on the 5th of November 2018 and the reaction from the people in San Carlos has been amazing.

We offer our unique designer clothes at the store. We also sell hand painted leather bags, women's jewelry, Men's accessories, handmade soap, hand knitted baby wear and toys along with a selection of paintings and photographs from our local artists.

We had our grand opening with the Major of San Carlos on Dec 5th and had a great party with our friends and customers and the members of the San Carlos chamber of commerce.

We still have so many ideas about new items of clothing we want to design and make. Our most popular items so far have been the mens' underwear and the women's and men's dress shirts. This week we added a line in women's dress yoga pants. The men's pants are coming to our store next week!
